The day had started out like most days for Altar Boy Noah. He woke as the sun shone through the window of his dormitory bedroom at St. Peter’s Catholic School for Boys. He rose and immediately began to get himself showered and dressed for the Morning Mass. Noah smiled and greeted his fellow classmates and dorm buddies Marcus and Dex. He went straight to the dressing room at the back of the church, found his white altar boy gown, and put it on. As he began to exit the dressing room, he was about to pull back the heavy curtain that separated the room from the altar area, when he heard whispered voices coming from the other side. Curious, Noah stopped and listened. It was Marcus and he sounded strange to Noah—nervous, even. Noah peeked through a slight opening in the curtain and what he saw changed his life forever: Dex and Marcus were standing less than ten feet away. Suddenly, Dex reached over and pulled Marcus over to him. Then they kissed! Stunned, Noah didn’t know what to do. Such brazen sin! And yet the blood rushing simultaneously to his head and his loins- and the rapid beating of his heart felt…exciting, primal, instinctive. A thousand thoughts in an instant passed through the young altar boy’s mind. Then in the next instant, Noah watched as Marcus suddenly broke the kiss and gently pushed Dex away. Marcus blushed crimson and tried to adjust the growing bulge in his slacks. Then he murmured something to Dex that Noah couldn’t quite hear. Marcus turned away and dashed out of the altar room, leaving Dex standing alone with his own thoughts. Noah couldn’t help himself. He pulled the curtain away and pushed past into the altar room. Dex jumped, startled by Noah’s sudden appearance. Like Marcus, he also was sporting a sizable lump in his slacks. At the same time, Noah couldn’t help but notice the smile on his fellow dorm buddy’s cute face…
